A Tale of Pumpkins & Zombies

We went to the pumpkin launch again this year, and we were all a little disappointed. They kept having machine malfunctions and were SOO slow to do anything. On top of that B is a jumpy kid and at an age where he had not clue what was going on and cried through most of it. On the bright side it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful fall weather and colors.

Afterwards we went to the "Zombie Run" in SLC, the Huntsman Cancer Research has been putting it on for a few years as a fundraiser. I made the silly comment to my dad that maybe he would be the only crazy one dressed up ;) No worries, EVERYONE was dressed up in crazy, and hilarious zombie costumes. During the race the "humans" get a 3 minute head start then the zombie run starts. It was pretty fun to watch, and I think maybe next year the rest of us may get more into it and dress up (run? maybe!)
