Two Months

At 2 months Braxten

~Weighs 11 lbs 1 ounce (25th percentile)

~He is 24 inches long or two feet tall (75th percentile)

~Wears 3-6 month clothes since he is so tall, but he fits in 0-3 month clothes around

~Smiles

~Coos

~Loves being outside & looking outside

~Sleeps from about 10 to 4 then goes back to sleep until 7 or 8

~Is discovering his hands

~Loves his family

Today was his 2 month check-up, which means shots. I feel so bad for the little guy, as I type I am rocking him, hoping he stays asleep because he has been screaming his head off. Other then the shots the appointment was good the doctor says he looks great and is right on track!

Dear Braxten,
You are two months old today.. time is flying by. It makes me a little sad, but I love seeing you grow and learn new things everyday. You are such a good little boy, yes you do have your crying fits. But most of the time you are a happy, smiley little guy! Oh your smile, it melts my heart every time and I fall even more in love with you. I love it when you smile at me in the morning, and I know your smile is just for me. I love when you talk and coo to us all. Every once in a while you even squeal :) I hope this month we get to hear your laugh! You are my tall, skinny cuddle bug. You are so so handsome!

For our date today we went and picked out your very own first book. I have started reading to you, because I hope you grow up and love reading just as much as I do.


Braxten, I love you so very very much. I wish you knew how many people love you, how many lives you have affected. You're amazing :) This next month I start working and going back to school. I hope you realize I am doing it all for you. I hope you don't think I am leaving you too much! Really, you are what gets me through everything.
