accepted.

Well folks all those crossed fingers (and prayers :) paid off! Today I got a letter in the mail with the big word accepted in it! I am ecstatic, I got really nervous as I was applying for the social work program because I wondered if my grades weren't good enough or if there would be too many other people trying to get in. But I did it!!!

I got the mail and as soon as I saw the envelope address my stomach dropped, with everything else going on I just couldn't imagine good news in there. So I waited to open it (not too long... cuz i'm impatient like that) and prepared myself thinking I could apply again in the fall and maybe I wouldn't be that far behind. As soon as I saw accepted the water works started, and I had to call the parentals.

I think the reason I was so emotional about it is because I can finally see some light. When I was pregnant I had so many people tell me I wouldn't be able to accomplish the things I wanted if I parented him. That I would most likely never finish college, get a good job or any of those other things.

Here I am though and I am doing it! I am working my butt off and it is hard, but I am doing it.

To all the haters: Thank you for giving me motivation. What do you have to say now?
To all the supporters: Thank you even more for beliving in me more then I have believed in myself at times.
And most importantly.
To Braxten: Thank you a million times over sweet boy. You have given me the strength to do things I never knew I could. You have motivated me to be the best I can be, and to strive harder every day. I want you to know that you can do anything you want little love. No matter how the odds are stacked against you, no matter the things you have done. You are capable of anything.
