Five Months

My Braxten baby at 5 months:

o He is getting bigger by the minute. He wears size 2 diapers, 6-9 and some 12 month clothes. He has such a long body!

o Everyone always tells me his hair has gotten darker.. I think he has just gotten more of it. His eyes are still pretty blue, although some days I think they look more hazel.

o Loves chewing on all 4 of his fingers at the same time

o Has discovered his feet, and loves playing with them

o Brax is a talker, he chatters and squeals all the time

o This kid can eat! This past week he started eating oatmeal and squash (tonight we are gonna try carrots!)

o He loves drinking water.. out of a cup. He does spill quite a bit on himself, but I think it makes him feel like a big person :)

o He will grab my ears and pull my face next to his to give me a kiss... I love it!

o Has gotten a lot more ticklish and laughs more

o Yesterday his first tooth finally broke through, poor kid it was tough work getting it here

o His favorite things to do right now are bounce and jump, he can kick his legs for forever and just bounce and bounce.. not sure where all the energy comes from ;)

I think this month has been my favorite, so far. It is so fun to watch him change and grow and do something new almost everyday. I love discovering the world with him and having him soak it all in. His little personality is lots of fun too. He has a one track mind and is very determined, most of the time it is hard to distract him if he wants something else. And he is such a loving kid, he hates when anyone in his family leaves him (okay maybe he just likes being the center of attention ;)
